I get the thought behind this thread, and this is hard to say but T run the last 3 years is beyond impressive. The players they had the last 3 years were remarkable. Give their props and move on T may win stat again this year but I think they'll look a little more haunt his year.

Honestly. I would just like to know why you feel the need to do this? Did you apply to trinity and not get in? Did they beat your school by multiple touchdowns? What happened, to make you start attacking T?

 

Seriously snakeshot you need to cut these threads out, I am not sure how much more I can take of AvidTiger defending Trinity. I think this is violating some fundamental law of the universe.

Zero sour grapes, just that Trinity would not dominate Cincinnati like they have KY. All the great high school programs in that city have their ups and downs. A down year for Trinity and they can still win or play for a state title. A down year in GCL and you don't even Make the playoffs.

I don't think anyone thinks Trinity would have the same success if they were in Ohio. Although they would have been very formidable the past several years and would have won titles in given years (especially lately).

 

You're not exactly giving us breaking news by saying it's harder to win a state title in Ohio than Kentucky.

The same Ohio programs you are praising have all fallen and/or struggled with the big dogs. Just feel its a moot point.

Last year, T only lost one game: to Moeller.

 

Moeller lost three games: To Cincinnati St. X, Elder and Lakewood St. Ed.

 

Even with the team that T had last year, they would have been hard pressed to make a run in Ohio DI Region 4, let alone get into the state final 4. 2011 may have been a different story, but 2012 would not have been a pretty sight.

 

IMHO, if they had to play the big boys (GCL-S and Colerain plus St. Eds and St. I) in Ohio week after week, they may have a very hard time making the playoffs.

 

They have the state championship success that they have only because they are in Kentucky. Big fish in a small lake.
