I hate him with 84 kinds of passion, but Jordan is the best I've ever seen. I'd take him.

Scottie Pippen contained Magic in the 91 Finals. Lebron is just as tall as Magic, more athletic than Magic, bigger than Magic and stronger than Magic. Lebron would handle Magic.

 

Wasn't Magic hurt that series too, and/or the team had some injury issues? Seems like that was the case but I can't say for sure, that's been a while ago. Pippen is probably the one player I would worry about defensively that would bother him, much more so than Lebron I think. But again only 1 team can have Pippen. Think of all the good to great centers that Wilt or Shaq would have to go up against most every night when playing the other teams in our imaginary NBA BGP league. Magic would not have that problem nearly as much. Plus, great teams usually start at the point...not always, but most times. I just think with Magic, I have the clear matchup win many more nights than I would taking one of the top 2 or 3 centers.

I don't think Lebron would guard Magic singularly but I feel confident in his ability to contain him if needed. We have never seen a basketball player with his makeup. The same problem he is now for today's players he would be against the All Time greats as well.

Magic or Shaq. You can say Wlit but the man simply didnt get it done when it mattered. MJ is another solid choice but I think his personality could be a problem if the team wasn't chosen carefully.

 

With Magic and Shaq you're guaranteed championships. In his prime no one could stop Shaq. No one, not one person in the history of the league.

 

LeBron is a solid choice, but it took him longer to find his grove than Magic. Magic was a champion the day he stepped onto the court. But if we're talking all-time greats you can't go wrong. MJ, Magic, LeBron, Wilt, Russell, Shaq, Bird, The Big O, Kareem, Kobe and Duncan should be among the top choices IMO. Those guys are a cut above the competition.

What if we did an alltime players fantasy draft and compared teams?

Wilt over Shaq and it isn't that close.

Wilt won 2 titles in 14 years. He just happened to play against the most dominant team in league history for the majority of his career. If he had been on the Celtics and Russell had been where he was, the Celtics would have still won all of those titles and no one would question Wilt's greatness. Wilt was 7-1 and 275, I think he could match up just fine against Shaq.
