I read the article, it was nice. He sounds like a quality player with great desire. I hope they go far in the State Tournament. I will be attending the Highlands/PC game later on this month.... it will be my first time seeing the Wildcats....

Thanks for posting this article, Coach. Pat is definitely a great young man and deserves this recognition.

The first time I saw him play my 1st question was does he play football? He is very athletic for his size. Great hands and great feet. Total athletic control of his body. Very impressive for a big kid. He has a football attitude.

He is a smart heady player. Strong with good hands, and great post moves. His shot is developing, and he is a legitimate NAIA/D2 player.

I enjoy watching Pat play. I believe he leaves everything on the court the way it should be played. Go Pat and Go Wildcats!!!

Pat is a very nice post player; the guy he reminds me most of (of those players I've seen this year) is Allen from South Laurel. Allen probably has more range, but they're the two best post players I've seen this year (along with Wilkerson from Lafayette; however, his game is totally different).

Only D3 offers? NKU needs to jump on board now they need a physical presence like Elliot, with Lungood leaving.

I could not disagree more vehemently. After almost 20 years in coaching and teaching, I have met tons of arrogant athletes and Pat is on the other end of the spetrum. Very humble. He is confident in his abilities but humble for the success he has had.

Pat Elliott is an absolute pleasure to watch play. Have seen him play at least a dozen times in the last 2 years and always come away impressed. If NKU can get this kid they need to get him signed ASAP. He is a Man on the floor..

 

The jury is still out on Bezold at NKU and the type of players he seems to go after. Seems to lock himself into schools that are within his comfort zone and he needs to go after a more diverse type of player/players if he wants to take NKU further.IMO

From what I've seen of Pat I think he is a very polite, well mannered young man. The times I have been in the classroom with Pat, basketball is not a subject he brings up in conversation with his peers or teachers. He leaves that for time with his teammates and coaches. I think that is great article and am glad Pat and the rest of the team is displayed is such a positive light.
