June 20, 201313 yr If what I've read on the first shooting is correct, they were friends, got into an argument in a car, guy was shot through the arm and into the face. Now they are no longer friends.... The charges were dismissed without prejudice, meaning charges can be brought at a later date. Based on my experiences in the "gang culture" that Hernandez and his associates are said to be linked to, even when someone shoots you, you refuse to cooperate with police. It's a code they live by. Thus the reason for settling. Believe it or not, a lot of shady characters refuse to help police. Mark it down, that first shooting was no accident.

Not that it changes your point but I read today that the shot was to the shoulder and somehow blew out his eye. He also lost the use of his arm.
