I didn't hate him in 2007, don't hate him now. Disagree with his policies and direction for the country. His leadership is suspect at best.

 

By his own press secretary's account, he must be the most uninformed POTUS in history. All Carney can ever say about the recent scandals is that the POTUS didn't know about them. Plausible deniability in these cases is not plausible.

I guess I just find it either amazing, disheartening, or infuriating (I can't decide which) that the Obamunists shoved the whole "Change you can count on", transparency, culture of corruption, post-politics and all of the other rhetoric that was used to get this guy elected down our throats is now seemingly forgotten. Even as cynical as I am I'm totally shocked that people like you are so willing to give him a pass because he's a politician and that's what they do. He's doing exactly what I expected him to do so my outrage with him is pretty much constant. I have a much bigger problem with the people that helped elect him that are just turning a blind eye to his obvious corruption, dishonesty or incompetence (again I'm not real sure which). Had he not run on the whole "change we can believe in" mantra and not been pushed on us as such a great unifier I really don't think I would feel this way, I would most likely see it as politics as usual.

McCain was a terrible candidate and nominating Palin killed him.

 

I have no doubt that Romney would have been a much better President but many Americans were totally duped by the slick production that was the Obama campaign and completely allowed themselves to be taken in by their attacks.

Romney ran a bad campaign but there's no doubt in my mind that Obama had water carriers in the media that helped deliver his message. I'll point to Candy Crowley interjecting herself into the debate as an example. People were duped by the smoke and mirrors the Obama campaign put out. Sometimes the best candidate loses and I believe that this time it happened.

It's almost like these people are taunting and daring and doing nearly everything they can to cause us to vote for a third party candidate and then laugh in our faces as we (the majority of the electorate) continue to vote R or D.

It is what it is. I'm going to vote for the guy I like the best and keep it moving. None of them will ever seriously affect change in my lifetime IMO. That belief of mine won't stop me from voting.
