May 22, 201313 yr Jabari Parker is just what the doctor ordered. No way they get the #1 pick next year. Can they? May not need #1. If they could come away with Wiggins, Parker, or Randle...pretty good young team.
May 22, 201313 yr I said the same about MKG last year. Loved him as a Cat. Not a #2 overall pick. Beal, Harrison, Lillard, Waiters?
May 22, 201313 yr May not need #1. If they could come away with Wiggins, Parker, or Randle...pretty good young team. Or one of the Harrison twins...
May 22, 201313 yr I said the same about MKG last year. Loved him as a Cat. Not a #2 overall pick. Yeah, all he did was make 1st team all rookie team...
May 22, 201313 yr Cavs are interested in trading from what I've seen on Twitter....Someone (maybe Bill Simmons?) suggested Boogie for the #1 pick.

May 22, 201313 yr This seems like a year I'd tried to trade out of the first pick. Nerlens is one of my favorite kids to come through UK but I'm not sure he's #1 worthy. I agree 100%, I'd trade any pick for a pick in the lottery next year.
May 22, 201313 yr I agree 100%, I'd trade any pick for a pick in the lottery next year. I think if I'm the Cavs I trade #1 & #19 for #7 and Boogie if the Kings are down.
May 22, 201313 yr I think if I'm the Cavs I trade #1 & #19 for #7 and Boogie if the Kings are down. That's not a bad option but I would prefer to trade into next years lottery.
May 22, 201313 yr May not need #1. If they could come away with Wiggins, Parker, or Randle...pretty good young team. I'm assuming Wiggins is the #1 pick next year which is why I said Jabari Parker. Randle would work there also.
May 22, 201313 yr Even with Kyrie there? Aaron (I think) is a 2G. He's a shooter, so I'd think he'd fit in nicely.
May 22, 201313 yr Aaron (I think) is a 2G. He's a shooter, so I'd think he'd fit in nicely. Gotcha. I was thinking they were both point guards.
May 22, 201313 yr Wizards were the big winners here, hoping they can land Otto Porter to go along with Wall, Beal, Nene, and Okafor. If they can resign Martell Webster and keep some guys healthy they will be a pretty tough squad, at least in the playoffs. They were a playoff team with Wall in the lineup, so if they can keep him and the others healthy I like them. Not a Finals team, but solid foundation. If guys like Seraphin and especially Vesely can continue to develop, they will have a pretty solid bench as well. Wall Beal Webster/Porter Nene Okafor Webster/Porter Ariza Seraphin Booker Vesely I like the idea of Porter starting for rebounding, defense, passing, etc. (makes for a more well rounded lineup) and Webster as a scoring 6th man coming in at the 2 or 3. Then you have Ariza off the bench on the wing, Seraphin and Booker off the bench down low. They really need Vesely to develop some kind of game at all, if they can get any production out of him at all it would be good production. Just never understood how they could'ev drafted a 6'10-7'0 SF who can't shoot or dribble. However, if they can somehow mold him into a 4 man, they may get some value. With his athleticism and hustle you would think he would at least be able to help on the glass and on D.
