You need to follow the NFL closer.

So they take rapist, murders, drug heads, wife beaters, and all sorts, but not a quality person like Tebow?

Never once seen an NFL team say anything regarding Tebow's character is why he doesn't have a job....

They don't want the circus/distractions that come along with Tebow the person.

Now we're talking!! If the criteria for NFL QB's is "a quality person", I may have a shot at the NFL after all (if I may be so presumptuous).

Kinda surprised the error was not caught earlier. I would have to think numerous people look at the contracts and then the pay schedules related to such contracts. No one (attorney, accountant, etc.) noticed the discrepancy?

Again, in no way shape or form is this to take away from the honesty and integrity he shows. Wasn't there a Heisman winner from Univ of Nebraska who during preseason practice of his rookie year realized he didn't have the talent to make it in the NFL so he resigned before the season even started giving up a huge amount of his contract he would have received even if he were to bomb but stuck it out throughout the contract until he was cut?

I suppose it is poorly written but the article states all three people said he could keep the extra money.
An example where "legal" and "right" are at odds with one another. It is refreshing he chose to do what is right, even though he didn't have to.

How many of us would be tempted to keep the money? I know I would be. I hope I would return it but it wouldn't be genuine of me to say I would with 100% certainty. That decision would involve a lot of soul searching.

I agree; if not for this I think he's on a roster somewhere as a backup... or maybe being

used in a wildcat role like the Jets said they were going to use when they signed him.

I think his situation is similar to what T.O. or Ocho encountered in there later years in the league.
