Ashland is too talented to be as bad as they have been this year too! Look at their record. The Tomcats have had about 3 or so games that have been around the high 30's to 40 range!

 

You are right. Its a shame that some fans seem to be getting comfortable with this type of a season. This is just totally unacceptable.

I'm sure that the Ashland coaches and players went in to the game to win......

 

I'll SAY IT AGAIN let the coaches coach and the kids play. I'm no round ball genuis but I'm POSSITIVE that all involved in the Ashland program KNOW what is going on (both on the court and what's said here).....

 

Get a grip guys we're not the best team all the time and we haven't been this season....To be honest the only people that can change that are our kids!!! And if a few of you haven't figured this out yet "they" either read this or "hear" it...

 

I still have the up most respect for OUR kids that go out there every night. Their TOMCATS!!! And those guys need our support right now not...BLAH....BLAH...BLAH...

 

Its time to buck up as a Tomcat Nation and get behind this kids instead of trying to figure out why???? The District is right around the corner and I am personally tired of the complaints!!! Get behind these Tomcats or STOP posting.....

In all seriousness, and I'm not an Ashland fan mind you what can and should be done about this team! I haven't seen them play since this summer at the Fairview team camp, but in your insider Ashland opinion what is the problem and how can it be fixed? I'm really not trying to start anything up , but I would like to know what is going on. I respect the Tomcats like every team in the 16th does like them or hate them they have been a constant threat in this Region and State since the 1920's. So please enlighten me with some answers!!! :confused: I thought the Boyd Co. game would turn the corner,and not be a setback!!

Only 6 players played tonight for Ashland... do i need to prove my point again?

 

You ashland guys are tearing me up. They beat BC and you guys can't get on the bandwagon fast enough - then they lose to East carter and you want to act like you have all the answers and Flynn should be asking you what moves to make. :creepy:

I realize your passion and the kids and coaches deserve the support, However the Tomcats Nation is struggling just like our BIG BLUE NATION and alot of people are wondering WHY?? If you noticed I haven't changed my avatar. I still wear and love the Big Blue, I support the players and staff and was at Rupp this Sunday. I even missed church to see them. I not being negative , but sometimes people are going to question things that are going on. I know the Matt, Drew, Robbie, are winners!! (Remember the 4 time STATE CHAMPIONS the Eastern Kentucky Stars) I watched them finish 6th in the NATION!!!!!!!!

This Ashland team is hard to figure. They are probably going to make it to the regional tourney this year thanks to the luck-of-the-draw, but I don't see anyway that they can make a run this year. I thought that they might get on a roll after beating Boyd, but I guess I was dead wrong.

 

Rose Hill feels the same way, best chance to make it back to regional tourney is the draw they received! :thumb:

Blue Blazer what does AAU basketball have to do with high school basketball? Those are all star teams. Do AAU teams scout and gameplan like good high school coaches? Put Vanhoose, Clark, Blair, Blanton, etc on Ashland and I am sure they would be winners again.

Call me crazy but I dont see anyone who acted like they had all the answers, or mentioned anything about Flynn in this thread. No one is jumping on or off any bandwagon. If we werent on the "bandwagon" as you say then we wouldnt post, because we wouldnt care.

Going back through the posts I see where only playing 6 players were questioned and a suggestion that since Bonner didn't play he should be in the weight room getting ready for football.

AT41, I know that you are a die hard Tomcat fan, and go way overboard sometimes with your predictions and statements on here, but the post below sure makes it seem like you've given up on the basketball team, or at least it looks like you think that Bonner should give up on basketball.
