Not real.

I would think the cost would be more if there were real diamonds. Thanks Rockmom.

Well, I guess I was wrong....I'm going to have to pry the 2003 one off my son's finger and find some glass......

Does your son actually wear his ring?

Yes, a lot more than his senior ring.

When you have a state ring, what is a SR ring???

Did you know they sell a pendant for the moms? It made for an easy Valentine's gift this year!!!! It's the center part of the ring.... wife is loving it! No couch for this old dog.... for a while!

I like the X on the side.

I wonder if Balfour had to get permission to put the X on the side form St. X? Maybe a stupid question, just wondering.

Why in the world would anyone need to get permission from x? And by the way, I didn't ask for permission to use an x before I typed this response. Also, who do I contact to get permission to use the letter a?

Many of the rings have the final score of the championship game carved on them. Pretty standard procedure.

That is why I asked the question, the X used on the ring is a X intended to Represent St. Xavier and I believe that there is some sort of Trademark on that intent with usage. Just curious, wondered after I saw that Texas AM has a suit against the Seahawks for using their fames 12th man saying and decals. Just a question? Whay put the score of one game and not the record of the entire season, not to pick but to discuss so Rock Alum settle down.

I think it is pretty clear why the kids want the score of the Title Game on the ring.

I do not believe X has ever done that and Lampley's were not like that from what I remember. To steal a quote for Coach G. The journey is what is important not the end.

Nope. Don't think you can trademark a letter. Although, I'm sure many X grads believe they can or already have.

Isn't the end part of the journey? :sssh:

I just feel the season is more important than one score. I always liked Lampley's rings for that fact.
