Eric Deters is a loudmouthed ambulance chaser who thinks he's a big shot in the area. He used to have a radio show on 700 WLW until he was fired, he is one that takes cases like teacher sex scandals etc.

 

Now whther or not SK is guilty or not of the charges, I don't know and really don't care anymore. since I heard Deters is the one bringing this to the surface it makes the charges even that much less credible imo.

 

Don't forget his other highlight when he agreed to fight an Independence police officer and got his but kicked inside of a cage.

I do know that they got burned by having the same attitude that you do towards holding people accountable so that they practice good stewardship with funds that are provided to them. In reading the report, SK has/had a lot of weaknesses in their record keeping. Sooner or later that can lead to getting burned.

1. SK athletic boosters accounting practice lacks appropriate detail.

 

2. The big mouthed lawyer is worse than even I thought.

 

Looks to me like he instigated two audits through separate complaints which have yet to uncover any wrongdoing. Yet he continues to argue, in some rambling nonsensical manner, that there are improprieties. He not only asks questions which he does not know the answer to. (A cardinal rule for lawyers) he continues to ask questions that have been answered and support the other side of the argument.

I think another public beat down is in order. The big mouth lasted about 50 seconds in his fight against the policeman. How long would he last against Coach Marksberry. I propose a MMA fight matching this pair to be held in the SK gym. $5.00 admission with proceeds to SK athletic boosters. BGP tailgating, ringside seating, and a post fight shindig. (Maybe at Guru's crib?)

His new "crib" would be for BGP VIP's ONLY. Now his previous "crib"....this would have been the place for the BGP masses, boys and girls were talkin' PARTY CENTRAL!!!!!

The implication of Deter's release is that money is being spent inappropriately. The Athletic Boosters raise money to support SK athletics. The money is spent on SK athletics. There is no issue here other than crass guy with a law license!

Maybe somebody can call up that video of the cop one punching him in that fundraiser he put on.

I give him kudos for raising the money but he went limp like a 70 yr old at a prostate exam when that Cop high karate him one time was as good as it gets....LOL

After a week, looks like nothing illegal or immoral by the SK Athletic department, as expected. Waiting for the investigation to begin on why Deters and the folks that started the whole fiasco haven't issued their public apology.
