Ryle head coach

Featured Replies

I will say this...Ryle really seems to be dragging through the process. The few coaches I've spoke to have said they haven't heard from Ryle lately. Weren't they supposed to interview over spring break?

Any idea or updates on this job? This is the crown jewel of the open NKY jobs and should be filled by May I would hope.

The crown jewel of open jobs? Ryle has mostly been a doormat for their entire existence. The St Henry girls job may be on par with this job.

My understanding was that the "30 Day" posting limit didn't end until this week (I think 4/15/2013).... I would expect the process to start within the week, Ryle has Math, Science, Asst Principal(which could open another teaching position) and a special ed. The Possibilities are endless for Ryle.

Rank the open basketball head coach jobs from best to worst.

I'm hearing Snapp as well...nothing official though.

I'll see him tomorrow night...will talk to him then and see if he is hearing anything.

From what I hear, he is full of all kinds of information. Have they even had interviews for the Ryle job as yet?

No they have not. Demler told a reporter the committee is still going over applicants.

I heard today that the reason for the slow process is because Ryle wants to see which openings become available first.

Heard from a current teacher at Ryle that there will be openings in Math, Science, English, and Social Studies. This is pretty much an open door position with all these openings.

I guess not much interest in this job from outsiders. Is it that Snapp has it wrapped up? Just trying to get some insight.

I personally like Snapp but as of last Thurs he hadn't been interviewed or heard anything in a while.

I never thought Snapp would get this job, even though he still might, but to have not been interviewed after all this time doesn't sound good for him. I really like Rod, but I don't know if Ryle is the best place for him.

No one has interviewed for this job. Spoke to McFarland, Bowman, and Blevins and all have said the same thing as Snapp. Prepare for this to be drawn out into May when teacher contracts are finalized. I know they want the right coach that will be in the building do I guess patience can be a good thing.

I have heard the same.
