Ohio State Spring Game at Paul Brown Stadium

Featured Replies

Guessing a half full PBS was not what old Urb had in mind...

Why did they move it there? Would think numbers would have been much better in Columbus.

Stadium renovations...

I think it was last year or the year before there were said to be 96,000 there.

I would love to see how well other schools would do if there spring game was 2 or 3 hours away from there home stadium.

Not well. Heck, move Louisville's 30 minutes outside the city and we'd all complain and do something else.

I must be crazy (well, I know that's true) but I can't understand why a person can only be a fan of one team or conference and all others are terrible. I am a "college football fan" and have a few teams that I may pull for. I love the SEC as well and believe that it's the best conference in football, am a UK fan in all sports as well as football. I have been an Ohio State football fan since the early 70's and still am. I didn't mean to get off topic of the thread but am still just amazed at all the hate.

I didn't see the Buckeyes spring game and was just logging on to see any comments. The Buckeyes imo are going to be one of the very top teams in the country. 12-0 in Meyers first season/only one recruiting class is pretty good :sssh:. Meyer has another years recruiting class in and the team is going to be better and better each season with the athletes that Meyer is bringing in.

So, should someone hate then they are going to and that's fine. I personally have better ways to spend my time than trashing anyone (I can't stand Michigan or Tennessee but am not going to waste my time talking about them).

GO BUCKEYES !!!

and.....go SEC / U.K., I can muti task. :D

When you take away all the hung over students who don't have cars and gas money you lose 10k.

The plan was to come in and sell out PBS to show they "owned" Cincinnati. It didn't work...

Hell, at USF, we have the game 11 miles from campus, at our home field no less, and draw squat.

I was a Florida's Orange and Blue Debut last year and was surprised by the lack of attendance.

As long as we own the recruiting with ND were cool.

Which neither do. And never will. Just not how the city works, and you know it...

It is spread out but OSU had has great success cherry picking. Truth is Cincy is a minimal player in talent. Obviously we want Cincy to stay out of the fight but I want to see Cincy take the UL/UK guys.

UC has zero to do with this discussion. Urb wanted to flex his muscle and he only filled half of PBS at best. Spin it any way you wish from there...

And if you take out the student fanbase freebies you lose a lot. Its a spring game... OSU still brought more people out of town than a lot of major schools who were on campus.

I bet that Bama could pull more than 37k at Paul Brown stadium for a scrimmage...
