Bolden Gets Another Offer

I love his game. I really do, but... I'm curious of how big time he can be at 5'11, 150lbs (I'm guessing). "

Ricardo wasn't a PG and didn't have James' offensive game.

Coach Bezold conspicuous in his absence. Is this just a case where he sees the writing on the wall? Can it be long before Thad Matta starts poking his trader face around? Sorry, thats my X roots coming out.

As much as I loved Ricardo and his game, he had no where near the skillset that James posseses. Regardless of size, the kid can play.

I had a kid in open gym yesterday that is going to Brewster Academy next year from Winton Woods and even he said that Bolden "is the truth."

Let's not forget Bolden Hung 29 on Hawkins and MC.

I'm not doubting a UK visit but can't believe their serious about James. He's just too small. Cal likes size and the bottom line on James is that he's 5'11 ish and most likely won't get much/any bigger.

Hawkins has far less skill and no more height than Bolden and he was offered by Uk.

Hawkins looked a couple inches taller and has a better body overall.

He still has two years to tone his body up and get stronger with his quickness, skills and speed. Its a possibility.

Purdue's undue pursuit of the not precipitous point guard is perverse and precocious.

Did this offer come while he was perusing the campus?

Plenty perspicacious and potentially parsimonious point, pal -- yet passably palatable. Pow!

Hawkins is 5'11-6'0 at best. I stood next to him during interviews and he isn't very big. Hawkins also isn't as quick as Bolden, hence why he picked up 2 quick fouls in the state quarterfinal game. Couldn't guard him.

Aren't they the same age?

I am a big fan of both so I am not trying to put one down to build one up.

One is a Senior, the other a Sophomore. When Hawkins was a Sophomore (or even a Senior) he was not getting the looks and offers that Bolden is (and will continue to get). I'd like to think that ALL these college coaches have a good handle on how to evaluate talent. I believe Cal offering Hawkins was good politics. I also believe that Cal will have to work a lot harder to compete against the other DI schools for Mr Bolden's services.

I said age not grade

What's your point? Regardless of age, Bolden is still better.
