IF they do call up Robinson I put him in the 2 hole, and see what he can do for a month. I'm just no sold on Heisey playing everyday.

Kubel from the Diamondbacks could be a target down the road. Cuddyer from the Rockies as well. The Rockies need starting pitching help.

Chris Nelson from the Rockies could also play 3rd for the Reds and move Frazier to LF. Not sure what he'll require in return, but he would be better than Heisey/Hannahan and the Rockies will probably move him once they bring up their 3rd prospect who almost made the club out of spring.

I was thinking more along the lines of Paul for Craig. :lol2::lol2::lol2:

Mike Morse could potentially be available. FA after the season, and I can't imagine Seattle will keep him once they're out of contention....So give it a couple weeks. :D

#WellAlright... It's CRAZY how things can change after one day of baseball! New role. New teammate. Same MISSION.

Phillips switching to cleanup?

Xavier Paul for Allen Craig?

I like your guy Lutz. Big boy with some big power. He's pretty raw though, read he started playing at 15...

Yeah definitely needs some more work. I'm very intrigued with his size, power and speed though.

Really a shame to hear this about Ludwick. Was hoping to see him have a repeat of last year.

I know the Reds won't do it, but I would call up big Donald Lutz. 6'5, runs like a deer, and has big time power.

He's listed at 6'3'' from what I can tell.

I'd be interested to see what Yorman Rodriguez could do, but he's still a year or two away from getting a serious look. He was crushing the ball in spring training, though.

It'll be interesting to see what the Reds do with Choo. Do they move him to LF temporarily or do they let him continue playing CF? Chances are the guy in left will be a better CF than Choo...

I'm assuming the timetable for Ludwick is 8-12 weeks (closer to 10-12). That puts him out until the All Star Break.

Re-sign Scott Rolen to fill in at 3rd for a couple months & move Frazier back to LF?

He's probably too busy playing in the Jasper Retirement Home Recreational Wiffleball League. No way in heck I'd do that.

Not any more. Rolen went on the JRHRRWL disabled list on Monday. Aggravated his right shoulder trying to turn a DP against two guys on walkers.

I thought about this option last night when I heard this news. Not saying I wold do it or anything.
