I don't like trading talent for a short term fix. So any trade off the roster of someone with value for a two month option in LF doesn't work for me.

 

I liked Tom Gamble's idea this morning on the radio - move Frazier to cleanup and put the Heisey/Paul/Robinson LF person in at 6 or 7. That way you leave Phillips alone at the 2 hole. You could move Cozart up to 6th if you prefer the LF at 7.

 

I find the Scott Rolen idea interesting. The problem there is what do you do with him when Ludwick comes back.
