March 31, 201313 yr Best of luck to him. Wasn't a good fit at UK. Agreed. Wish the kid well. Seems like a good kid that wasn't emotionally or physically strong enough to play at UK.

March 31, 201313 yr Jeff Goodman @GoodmanCBS 1m Will attempt to get a waiver from NCAA Ryan Harrow is transferring from Kentucky to Georgia State’s men’s basketball team and is going to petition the NCAA for the right to play in the 2013-14 season. Harrow, a former standout at Walton High, is transferring because his father suffered a stroke before the 2012 basketball season and is in poor health. Instead of making a player sit out a year per its rules, the NCAA has numerous times granted a player immediate eligibility when transferring in similar situations. If his approval is granted, Harrow, a sophomore, would have two years of eligibility at Georgia State. “I really need to be home with him to be closer to him to make sure he’s taken care of,” Harrow said. He said his father is a basketball fan who can’t travel to watch him play. Being in Atlanta would enable Harrow to make sure his father is cared for, and would give his father a few chances to watch his son play.
