Congrats WKU!!

Yes it was. They were 16-15 during the season, then won 4 in the conference tournament. They're bad. That's all there is to it.

If you say so.

I know it is only one season but be ready Richard will have an awesome career.

Define awesome. How high do you think he climbs?

That may be the case; but, like last season, WKU is a lot more talented than a typical play-in team or 16 seed. I watch a lot of lower level college basketball and they are on the high end of the talent spectrum despite their results.

Well Liberty is a play in for sure..........Leaves 3 spots for 16 seeds................Might end up with worse teams but WKU is real close to playing in Dayton.

Unless they've changed things the play in games aren't automatically for 16 seeds.

At least one of them was for as high as a 12 seed.

Wrong. Since adding the 3 additional play-in games, two of the four games have always been for 16 seeds, the other two for the last 4 at-large teams to get in, whatever seeds those may be.

Then how am I wrong? I said that the 4 play in games are not automatically for 16 seeds.

In the two years that the NCAA Opening Round has been expanded to 4 games, the seeding for the play in game was as follows: 2011 - 16, 16, 12, 11 & for 2012 - 16, 16, 14, 12.

How do you see his career panning out?

How do you see his career panning out?

Don't know. I wasn't the one who projected an "awesome" career though.

Congrats to all the WKU alumni and fans, especially my parents (both alumni), who were absolutely thrilled Monday night.

It's been three days and my dad is still texting me lyrics to the Western fight song every morning. I think he's happy with how that went.

Truthfully, before this week I didn't know he knew how to text.

Have always enjoyed following this program. You don't want to be on the other side of Ray Harper in March.
