I heard they have a real nice poker room. Sports books are only in Vegas. It is illegal everywhere else in the US, except for a few small places up east who just voted in some parlay type wagering.

 

I didn't go in but I walked by and it looks very very nice.

Go to the Casino and gamble for 30 minutes. After that parking is compd and they can start hunting.

I've never seen a hooker at Grand Vic or Hollywood, is it too far of a drive for them?

I have a buddy that has been to Vegas 3-4 times and he says he has not seen one there either, I don't how you cannot. HAHA

And I thought that lady who cozied up to me liked me for my personality.

 

On another note, there is a note on their website that says parking will be free 24/7 this week.

Went yesterday late afternoon (4ish). Played blackjack at a $15 table for about 90 minutes. The two dealers we had were very courteous but were very green. They each made numerous mistakes. The basic paying of money was not a given. Our main dealer made at least 7 pay errors at the table when I was there. Twice he tried to pay me when we pushed. I was too honest to let him - bad karma too! Once when he had 17, he tried to pay a lady who had 15. The pit boss caught him though. Twice he tried to take money from another guy when they had pushed - he made mistakes both ways. They found blood on a card and that created a 10 minute delay. The pit boss thought someone was marking the cards and asked if any of our hands were bleeding. We all told him WE don't ever touch the cards! They replaced the shoe and watching our dealer actually shuffle the cards was painful. Did not look like a true BJ dealer. Luckily, I was winning - won $100 for the evening so I overlooked all the mistakes.

 

Another thing that I found strange was that when I bought a drink from a table server, I could not pay her with chips. I found that strange - had to pay her in cash. I was going to give her a 5 and 2.50 chip for my $5 drink but when I had to pay cash I just gave her $6 instead. I bet the servers hate that because it has to cost them in tips.

 

I felt safe coming and going but it was not dark yet. Overall, I like the place but the dealers need to step their game up considerably.

Our normal dealer was excellent but the relief dealer who came in was very green. And I wasn't sure how to react. He got a 21 and announced he had 17 and paid the table. Another time he took another card when he got to 21 and busted. Normally I would point it out, but the table was full and I didn't want another customer to knife me. A lady had blackjack twice and the dealer paid her both times before he checked his cards which he had blackjack. Never corrected it. Overall, it was a nice time to spend an afternoon. I never felt unsafe and didn't notice any hookers but again, I wasn't looking and I was there at 9 am on a Monday.

This just reminded of a funny conversation we had recently at our local poker game. i told him he must be blind!

Depends what you play. Mornings are kind of slow so only a few tables. By afternoon, 1-2 NL, 2-5 NL, occasionally 5-10 NL, 3-6 limit, 1-2 pot limit Omaha, 6-12 Omaha 8. Few others thrown in. No bad beat or tourneys yet, later this summer. 10% take up to $6. Earn $1 an hour comps.

 

There is a great app called Bravo that will give you what they are currently spreading and wait list.

Mainly stud, hold 'em NL, and omaha for me. I've never truly liked pot limit/limit. Trying to expand to Razz and a bit of High-Low but its not my cup of tea unfortunately.
