April 4, 201313 yr Author I was meeting someone at the casino yesterday for a late lunch and ran into someone else I knew, ill just say this person was working undercover for the state of Ohio. Seems as if some are treating the casino like a Kings Island, a play land, as I was told of the issues with drugs, prostitution and some gang members they are keeping an eye on there. I was also told that some federal agencies come in at times such as the DEA. The good thing is they know of this activity and taking a progressive approach to put a lid on it.

Their biggest fear should be if a gang fight breaks out and it turns into a gun battle. That will stop everyone from going.

I've been in a lot of casino's, some in much worse neighborhoods (Buffalo and Atlantic city come to mind), and have never seen anything, or heard of anything close to a gun battle happening. I've now been to Horseshoe three times, and have zero safety concerns. Have I seen some rough characters....yes, and they'll be in any casino, no matter where. I get that it's not in a great neighborhood, but I've seen, heard, felt nothing to give me any indication that anything will ever spill into the casino.

April 13, 201313 yr Author I heard about this a few weeks ago but had other things on my mind at the time. But now Cincinnati police officers are not wanting to work at the new casino, if they aren't getting paid, who can blame them? Officers at Horseshoe Casino go unpaid
