When I told my wife about the support dog angle, she (who is more liberal than I, believe it or not) looked at me and said, "Well; I'd vote for a dog before I'd vote for Mitch McConnell".

 

I'm fairly certain that she's never voted for a Republican in her life. Not saying that's bad, good or somewhere in between; I think she worries that all of her deceased relatives would haunt her if she pulled an "R" lever.

I feel like I'm on the right track with my feelings about Ms. Judd. My sister is wholeheartedly behind Ashley Judd....can't be a good sign. She's now not speaking to me (again), because I expressed my concerns. :lol: And y'all thought I was a liberal.

Just for the record, would someone please refresh my memory as to the accomplishments of our senior senator. Is it Mitch’s ability to strike deals with the other side of the aisle for the betterment of the country? Or is it Mitch’s charm? Yes, that has to be it. Or maybe it’s his ability to “bring home the bacon” in the form of federal funding for a new Brent Spence Bridge? He is going to help us at some point, isn't he?!

Actually what I meant was the only time she concerns herself with KY is during basketball season and I'm sure she attends more home games than road games. Don't know where you got I was questioning a commitment to UK basketball.

Sure hope so. Don't like the idea of tolls/tax on a federal highway bridge that we all know will never be temporary. Once the toll/tax is applied, it will never be removed.

I just don't see the Democrats punting in KY when nationally they have all the momentum right now. Things are right for a seat pick up right now if they don't blow it.
