Kentucky 85 Mississippi State 55

MSU would struggle to compete in the Heartland Conference, let alone the (down) SEC.

I'd take quite a few of the top prep schools to comfortably beat this MSU team...

The Cats got some help last night. Arizona State, Indiana State, Arkansas, and Maryland all went down.....The Cats (according to Lunardi) are out of the "Last 4 In" catagory. With how poorly the bubble teams are playing right now, I really think a win against Georgia and a 1st round win in the SECT will get them in. Win 2 of the final 3 regular season games and they're a lock IMO.

Did not watch or see the game.............Who is there coach?

MSU is all kinds of bad but still, I like the effort and energy the Cats played with. Two straight games now that Kyle has played bad but the team overall has looked good. They could really get going if (when) he starts knocking them down again.

Mississippi St. only dressed 8 players, 6 on scholly.

How does that even happen?

I was wondering the same thing. It looked like in warmups that they only had seven.

According to Matt Jones, Kentucky's favorite official, Doug Shows, will be working the game Saturday @Arkansas. Ridiculous that the SEC keeps putting him on Kentucky games.

My son told me they said during the broadcast that the coaches practice so they get 5 on 5

This is correct. According to my sources, Shows asked to be taken off the game and the SEC assignor, Gerald Boudreaux told him no.

If that's true, the SEC is a complete joke. If an official asks to be removed from a game (I would think in this case because of obvious bias), the conference should do so.

I thought John Cahill was Kentucky's favorite official?

Look at his track record against Kentucky. He calls technicals against Kentucky every time he officiates one of their games. The stats show he has an unreasonably short-fuse when working a UK/Coach Cal game.

The story that Shows asked to be removed and was denied is very interesting.

Shows is TERRIBLE.
