ABC edits Mrs. Obama interview

Featured Replies

Edited the part about automatic weapons.

Regarding the death of teenager Hadiya Pendelton, Mrs. Obama asserted, "And she was caught in the line of fire because some kids had some automatic weapons they didn't need." This quote appeared online, but not in the February 26 interview with Robin Roberts

ABC silent about why it edited out Michelle Obama's reference to 'automatic weapons'' | Fox News

Then Robin Roberts asked easy questions for her.

Not suprising since she is also black. But Robin roberts was capapble of asking tough questions to Mrs. Bush.

It's not as though Roberts is incapable of asking tough questions when interviewing a first lady. On October 22, 2007, the journalist wondered in an interview with First Lady Laura Bush if the United States should be exporting generosity and not "our bombs."

Do you expect anything less from the media, particularly ABC?

How do we know it was edited because of race? Wouldn't the safer assumption be because of politics?

Had nothing to do with race.

But it is totally using an agenda to slip in things that are just not true. Imagine that.

I think we've found the president's and his administration's source of gun identification...

Agreed.. And the MSM is still using the quote " Like the one used in the Sandy Hook shootings." Every time they mention an AR15.. Maybe they haven't got the memo yet...

I think so too, but there was this little nugget:

With that poster everything is about race.

We can take heart that there is at least one employee for ABC who understands what an 'automatic' weapon is. And they knew enough to keep the first lady from getting hammered with her overstatement.

No it's not, but it ain't a coincidence the reporter who threw softball questions to her was black. Hopefully not true, but do you really think a black liberal is going to really press another black liberal, especially if it is the First Lady.

Is it a "coincidence" if white people throw softballs to white people?

No coincidence, but how many black liberal reporters have ever interviewed a black First Lady?

Robin Roberts sure didn't hold back on a white First Lady with Mrs. Bush, and whoopi didn't either on the View.

With that poster everything is about race.

I totally agree! Makes you wonder??????????????
