I'm calling this one a "pick" (just looked at the poll and it was 11-11 as well.

2 of the 10Th's best players will be facing off with 2 different styles.

Bach will be draining 3's like the old Bird/Jordan McDonald's commercial and Jackson (while he has a sweet perimeter game) does his best work near the rim.

Scott will play some tight D and don't discount Bach's supporting cast.

Should be an entertaining game.

And that means what? Game was over by halftime. Scott could have named the score in that game.

If Augusta doesn't throw a zone at Scott, I look for Tanner Kelsch to draw the Jackson assignment. I still look for both Jackson & Bach to get theirs. The key for Augusta is getting production from its supporting cast as they did against Mason County.

And this is a big part of what kept the Polar Bears in the game. Eli Florer had 11 points in the paint and they were all putbacks/and sets run for him. if not for 3 (i think) traveling calls he would have had 17. Cody Staggs got hurt, but even before that he was under utilized on the panther squad.

 

Haven't seen Scott play, but Crim's size definitely seems like it will be an issue for the Panthers. I'll be interested to see the outcome of this game!

If the Panthers arrive at the Fieldhouse with the same level of determination, intensity and focus, and play with the efficiency they played with against Mason Co. , I think they have a legitimate shot at winning this game. Just not sure if that efficiency(I think my numbers are somewhat close, a bit under 60% from the field through 3 qtrs, 90% from the charity stripe, 5 turnovers) can be duplicated no matter who the opponent. Should be interesting.

For Augusta to win their supporting cast has to be better than Scott's, because you know Jackson and Bach will get theirs. If Maddox, Snapp, Kelsch and Crawford can play similar to the way they did against Mason I feel like they can get the W! Coach Hinson will have the panthers ready tomorrow night. Should be a dandy!!!

Nothing against Augusta and you all know I am a Scott fan, but just putting it out there. You are making this hype of Bach getting way too big! He is comparable to Kyle Scaggs of Russel, Mason Monroe of Pendleton and can't think of the name but a guard out of Perry Co. Central (all great players) but Scott shut down all three of these players who are comparable to Bach. I expect the same thing Tuesday. I think Scott will be a step ahead Tuesday night and will run away with this game! Look for a big game out of the big men for Scott, Nick Jackson, Kameron Crim, and Tyler Buckner. Nobody from Augusta will be able to handle the physical play by these 3 bigs. Take that back, Bach could but he can't guard all three. Predicted score---- Augusta 55. Scott 66. Close game until the 4th quarter, when Scott makes their run.

 

Monroe had 27 against Scott..... Wouldn't consider that being shut down. Bach is more athletic and can shoot it better from the outside than Monroe. Scott's guards are not athletic or quick enough to guard Bach... Although if they saw the Bracken game, the box and one on Bach may be enough to slow him down if their role players are not hitting shots.

Monroe could have easily scored more. His FG% was terrible. He probably shot around 40 shots. Pouncy and Castleman not athletic? :lol::lol::lol: Pouncy is weak but quick and Bach will not know what to do when Physical Josh Castleman is all over him.

You must have not seen Bach play then.... :lol::lol: He had 33 on the best team in the region, with arguably the best defender in the region being Darius Jones. So I think Mr. Bach will be able to handle Pouncy and Castleman.

 

On another note, Mason Monroe probably hasn't shot 40 shots in any game during his career.... Lol. :lol:
