Im hoping I'm able to make it Tuesday night for the Holmes/NCC game. Outside a possible CCH/Holmes rematch, this is the one game I want to see. Holmes has revenge on their minds. Lets not forget, Holmes is two last second shots away from perfection (NCC runner in regulation to force OT, and buzzer beating 3 last night).

CCH gets lucky twice in less than 12 hours. I will say that they will have a tough game against a Ryle team that is playing really good right now. Putting arguably the 3 toughest teams on the same side doesn't shock me and I'm sure coach Sully will have his troops ready.

 

All the conversation will be on NCC, Holmes and CC so Cooper can fly under the radar. If Big Lou plays like he has the last two games the Jags will be a tough out.

In the 9th you have all good teams playing well at tourney time. It will be a great few days of basketball at BOK center over at NKU.

The draw is the draw. lucky or not these are the best teams in the region. Does it matter who you play? if you want to go to state you will have to be the best and beat the best. Last year Dixie lost to Cooper. who what have thought of that. Anything can happen and it's time for the each team to man up and play Bball. If you listen to the interview with Nick after the game, he DOES indeed practice that shot. Amazing skill, amazing decision making, beautiful shot. I agree with the disagreement about lucky shot. Hard work pays off with an awesome buzzer beater.

I agree that "pure luck" is a bit much. It's certainly "low percentage" but he had an uncontested straight-on look and the kid has a touch so...

 

It worked out.

Certainly a favorable draw for CCH but if I remember correctly Dixie battled them pretty hard 2 weeks ago.
