The kid didn't heave the shot, he shot the shot. Probably practiced it 10,000 times. A great shot plus some luck...ok.

The draw... the Colonels earned a first round pick against an opponent other than NewCath and Cooper. Performance positively effected the odds of a favorable draw plus some luck.

Let's not overexaggerate now. Every kid throws up shot during dead periods in practtice, but to tell me he "Practiced" the shot 10,000 times...come on man lol. If he sits there in practice and practices that shot that many times then I guess he does nothing else in practice.

To Cov Cath fans the 1/2 court shot is not all that impressive, Pauly set the standard from the 3/4 length distance earlier this season. Heck, half court is pretty much just a tad longer than a free throw.

You have heard of before and after practice correct? As you just found out, Pauly sank a even longer shot earlier in the season. Oh and I haven't missed too many practices this year, so yes I have seen him and others practice that shot!

Are you going to say that Bolden shot near the end of the game wasn't luck? Me I say it was practice, practice, practice and the players who have the most luck, just happen to practice the most!

that's what I meant when I said Every kid throws up shots like that during dead periods (before or after practice) kids do that from grade school on, but to make it sound like it was all skill and no luck because he practices that shot is like saying a hockey player who makes a goal from the lenght of the ice is not luck and all skill because before or after practice he shoots the full length so it's all skill.

Sorry, I'm sure he shoots shots like that as every other kid does but to make it sound like it's part of his practice and he has has practiced it 10,000 times means it's all skill is just funny.

CCH gets lucky twice in less than 12 hours. I will say that they will have a tough game against a Ryle team that is playing really good right now. Putting arguably the 3 toughest teams on the same side doesn't shock me and I'm sure coach Sully will have his troops ready.

All the conversation will be on NCC, Holmes and CC so Cooper can fly under the radar. If Big Lou plays like he has the last two games the Jags will be a tough out.

"all you can ask of your players is to "find a way" to win which is what they did" in you speaking of Cooper double overtime win vs. Conner!

But in speaking of CovCath they got lucky!:lol::lol:

So again how did CovCath get lucky in the draw? I mean CovCath never really got to pick as by drawing the 4th slot, they received what NCC, Cooper and Dixie left over!

TOG, just because they didn't actually make the draw doesn't mean they didn't get a little bit lucky with Cooper, NCC and Holmes on the other side. If I win the lottery, am I lucky, when I didn't actually pick the numbers? Good for Cov Cath, now every team has to earn their way to win it all anyway.

Thanks for clarifying my point. TOG seem to be offended by throwing in the luck factor. Didnt really need the tutorial on how the process works as everyone gets that part. The only point is everyone needs a lil luck and the pills in the Jeanie bottle worked their way. There's no science to how they came out as the combinations are many. No one will dispute the 3 heavyweights are on one side of the bracket. No complaints just observation.

Everybody has got to go play now. Should be fun.

They won't? CovCath has wins at NewCath and at Holmes, not to mention probably the best other win of the entire region (over Moeller). By the way, no clunker like your Jags vs Clinton Co on their record either.

LOL. I'll give u that but to u happen to recall the BLOWOUT loss u took from my Jags on your home court as well as the loss to Holmes on ur home court? If those arent clunkers what are they? If u want to talk about losses we can. I've got nothing to say bad about CCH. I just said they were fortunate with the win and the draw.

One thing I've learned from my time on BGP is that CovCath fans and Highlands fans are some of the most sensitive people. They can't stand if everyone isn't won over or agrees with their point.Makes this site fun.
