That's exactly what I was referring to so don't get ur shorts in a bunch Wa Wa. Last nites shot was pure luck and the draw today was luck and that's nothing against CCH as a bball team. Great shot, great draw and both were pure luck.

 

The kid didn't heave the shot, he shot the shot. Probably practiced it 10,000 times. A great shot plus some luck...ok.

 

The draw... the Colonels earned a first round pick against an opponent other than NewCath and Cooper. Performance positively effected the odds of a favorable draw plus some luck.

I disagree, I bet you Nick actually works on that shot. Pure luck would be if I went out there and made it.

How did CCH get lucky twice in 12 hours. They dismantled HC fairly easy. Dont think HC ever had the lead. As far as Holmes, was beating them pretty much whole game. Were up by 15 at one point. The last shot from half court would be called lucky, but thats one shot. CCH won the game. Period.

 

Fairly sure this post is referring to the last shot and the draw this morning. I would submit that at this stage in the game no draw is easy.

They each out of a pill bottle draw a number of with Cooper going first and NCC last 1-2-3-4.

 

NCC drew the 1 pick

Cooper drew the 2 pick

Dixie drew the 3 pick

CovCath got the last pill 4

 

Then pills listed as 1-3-5-7 were put into the pill bottle.

 

NCC drew first and received the #5 slot

Cooper drew and received the 7 slot

Dixie drew and received the 1 slot

CovCath due to drawing last received the reaming last slot #3

 

Based on the District runner-up not being allowed to play the District Champion until the Championship game that meant only Newport and Ryle could play in the upper bracket and Holmes and St. Henry could play in the lower bracket and they picked their pills like the above did.
