Johnny Football Taking All Online Classes

Featured Replies

I agree with RP, who cares? He's obviously not someone I would look up to. Let the kid do what he wants. I see a ESPN 30 for 30 coming soon.

I'm not sure why this is even news. There are plenty of people that take online classes only. It's not the norm, but it's possible depending on your major. I think it's funny when communication majors take mostly online classes. Isn't that an oxymoron or something?

Johnny Online.

I do not have an issue with. But something seems odd about it all. Why is it being discussed as many kids do just online classes? Something about self-acknowledging that he is a rock start and can't make it through campus like a normal kid just seems strange. I can't quite put my finger on it nor am I conveying it all that well.

Says he became a distraction in his classes so he is taking all online classes this semester.

This is college not high school. I'm sure he could attend in classroom sessions without distractions. After all, he's not the first "superstar" athlete at Texas A&M. Sounds a little quirky to me.

Maybe the question answered should be, How many division I "scholar" athletes take 100% online classes?

Guy is a big personality. Much more of a celebrity than Von Miller. This is the first player from A&M I can name aside from Miller since Dat Ngyuen.

Dude is a celebrity. Nothing quirky here.

I'm not saying he is really taking these classes either...but I can see life on campus as being a distraction for him and professors.

That basketball player from BYU had to do all online classes for the same reason. Its making me crazy thinking of his name.....I can see his face I guess Im going to have to google it
