Well isn't that Precious. (In my best Church Lady imitation, I know it's "special", but it fit, lol).

Kinda hard to pinpoint who all was involved. I'm sure it was chaotic.

I am sure at that school there are security cameras. Expel the person who stood up and started it, and all those who's class wasn't in the lunch room at the time will still have prom, and go from there.

I am sure the students will just use social media and have an informal Prom somewhere. Likely with less adult supervision. So I am not sure this is really 'punishment'. But since they were forewarned it seems a reasonable action. For those 'not involved' - lesson in wrong place at the wrong time.

There's consequences for their actions. Sorry about their luck. Stupidity is not an excuse for being held accountable.

I haven't read or heard but usually it's a lock in a sock. Don't ask me why I know that.

The principal could not back down after making the warning to cancel prom. If so no kid would take the principal serious again. As for the lock...its lock in a sock. You hit someone in the right spot in the head you can kill them for sure.
