I don't know anything about his financial situation. No kid in America is turning down scholarships to walk on. Unless his family is wealthy and they can afford it, then I might understand. Maybe he loves UK, I don't know. Anyway, good luck

He did and no his parents are not wealthy.

Congrats!! He destroyed the team I coach for 2 years. He blew us off the ball on offense and when on defense we ran Jet Sweep away from him and he came flat down the line and ear-holed our back. After the game was very respectful and humble Congrats to him and his family!! I am proud to say I coached against this great high school player! Congrats, NKY is very proud of Mr. Mosier!! Now show those Wildcats and SEC foes what NKY football is all about.

Great for Cole! I could see him helping the Cats down the road. Use the redshirt year to adjust the speed of the game and year round intensity of DI football. In a collegiate training program, Cole should flourish. As far as can he play or not, time will tell. I trust the opinion of his position coach, 4 year UK letterman David Berringer, over any avatar in a chat room, and he believes Cole is a DI player. Mr. Mosier certainly passes the look test and now has the opportunity to prove himself. I wish him and the Cats well!

Yes, he turned down several really nice offers from NAIA schools that were basically paying for everything with everything combined(grants, sports and Kees). D3 schools as well but no he did not turn down any fbs scholarships. He felt he wanted to play against the best and make his mark. He got a taste of the competition level attending many summer camps and knew he could more than compete at a high level.
