Cooper 70 Pendleton County 38

Good. I would've been angry if I missed an opportunity to meet Clizzy.

Life changing experience.

Well, I've know you forever, so I gotta work my way back down now.

Cooper held Mason Monroe to 5 points for the entire game. Guarded by Morgan all nite who was just as quick as he was.

AJ Collins led all scorers with 20pts (18 in the 1st half) then McNeil took over in the second half adding 14 more including a basket from his knees lol. Cooper was very physical. Maniacci sat this one out again healing up from a couple of injuries.

Good win for the Jags who appear to be putting things together finally for the stretch run. They are 1 of 4-5 teams that can win the 9th.

It takes a heck of a defender to keep Monroe in check like that. I tip my hat to him.

The basket that McNeil hit from his knees stunned me for a second...hadn't seen that.

Sounds like a "Hail Mary"

Still room for you to jump on.

4 teams can win the 9th. They're one.

Impressed tonight, as I mentioned, but still (to me) only 3 teams can win the 9th.

Cooper has been playing their best ball of the season this last month, and what makes it even more impressive is the fact their 2 best games came in their last 2 against Ryle and PC and both were played without big Lou. This team is scary good especially on defense.

Cooper is starting to peak at the right time (hopefully not too early for them). They will have a big say in who goes to Rupp.

Well, any one of the top 5 teams can have an off nite and get sent home whether from the regional. Cooper, who has only given up 50pts or more only 5 of their 20 games this year, will have a say in who goes to Rupp. If you think otherwise you have not seen enough of these 5 teams, which includes Holy Cross, play this year.

Seen them all several times. Holy Cross or CovCath won't make the Region, so only one of them can win it, by definition.

Cooper is outstanding defensively, without question, and Sullivan coaches defense as well as anyone. That said, I still don't think they can score enough to win three games against the presumed 9th region field. In my opinion.

Winning doesn't have to be pretty just effective. Cooper is only giving up 43pts/game and IMO I like their defense enough to give themselves a shot in the regionals. While their not the flashiest team nor the highest scoring they do have two shooters that can go off at the flip of a switch, two solid bigs who will bang with anybody in this region along with a decent shot blocker when healthy and a pg that takes care of the ball and is quick enough to guard any other guard in the region along with a solid bench.

They are good enough, just like the other 3 teams that can make it out. They will be a tough out and I can promise u most teams don't won't look forward playing them. If they get blown out by CCH I may agree with u but I don't see that happening. This team loves the underdog role.
