I have 4 years of eligibility left and only need 1000. 10 a game 25 games a year and I am home.

Good for the kid. Very classy act by Coach Leep. Who cares how many points he needed, Coach Leep wanted to make it happen.

Count me in this camp too. This endeavor is obviously well intentioned, but to have to script 7 possessions is a bit much. The young man doesn't need the 1,000th point to define him. He is a winner and a champion, based on what I read, without this charade.

What a life lesson here, don't worry son, if life throws you a bad break, we'll script it for you to make it right.

Count me out of your camp, little to sinical for me, a great feel good stroy, something we need a little more of. You and Clyde relished in telling 5 year old kids there is no Santa Claus.

He didn't need this to "define" him. It was a wonderful gesture by his former coach to express respect to a fine, hard working young man, giving a minute of gametime back to a young man whose career is more than likely over. I'm sure he'll never forget it. KUDO's to Coach Leep and congrats to Dallas on your 1000th point.

Oh, don't get upset, fan.

It's a fair question. Right?

How many points is too many? At what point is it a bad decision?

The whole thing took exactly 50 seconds off the clock.

How much time is too much time?

Who cares how many points is too many? Obviously, 13 wasn't.

So you'd be fine if they let him get 50?

If they did, I would want to be the guy on my squad who got to score 50 to catch back up. Talk about boosting a scoring average.

Obviously 50 is too many. I'm sure since he was so close Coach Leep thought it would be a decent gesture to one of his former players. Nothing more, nothing less.

Started a new thread. No need to hijack this one. I apologize for already having done so.
