Confirmed. Per Scott Brown of WKDZ in Trigg County.

Scott Brown's SportsBytes on WKDZ: Shawn Berner resigns as Fort Campbell football coach

Why?

Why?

Doing his Zija business full-time...going to teach 1 more year I believe and retire completely. Good luck to Berner...he's first class through and through.

Zija!

Really? He is making enough off of Zija to stop working and its worth it to give up coaching?

Maybe he is the one that private messaged me Zija, lol.

Yes...he can now choose to coach anywhere in the country if he wants to. Great thing about not NEEDING a teaching job! LOL

You could say that. lol

I hate to hear this, but I wish all the best to Coach Berner and his family.

I wish him well too. O'Cath and FC had many great battles. Great coach!

Isn't that just one of those pyramid scheme rackets?

Isn't that just one of those pyramid scheme rackets?

Negative.

-How old is Coach Berner?

-Is this a lifetime retirement, or is he just leaving coaching for awhile?

-What direction does Fort Campbell go from here? Does their being affiliated with the military affect who they hire? Would they be more likely to hire an out-of-state coach, or would a Kentucky/Tennessee coach have a realistic shot?

Isn't that just one of those pyramid scheme rackets?
