I would expect Owsley to play a zone of some type. It would be almost impossible to stop JBS playing man. PCC tried that and it didnt turn out good for them.

One things for sure, if Owsley happens to get past June Buchanan and Lee County does likewise with Jenkins, the Sherman Neace Center will definitely have a HUGE gate with those two rivals playing Friday night. Both schools have very loyal fan support.

 

 

I thought the Semis and Finals were going to be played at the Whitacker Athletic Center (formerly Dilce Combs) not @ Sherman Neace (MC Napier).

They changed it, but I am not sure why.

Hopefully no one has aksed this already, but is this game on the radio? If so what station. I would love to listen. I think I may have to check myself into a clinic for basketball addiction. *LOL*

At least everyone knows who is in charge . Most schools put their coaches in situations where nobody knows who the real coach is. Some higher power is calling the shots. Some coaches won't be back next year. Big revelation.

This will be a great game. JBS is one of the best teams in the region, and Owsley has started playing well. This will be a great game and a great atmosphere for a ballgame.JBS is good team but I dont see them leaving the Palace with a win. Owsley will win a close one. Owsley seems to always do well in the ALL A.

The Owls zone will work well if they get a hand up on JB's shooters and force them to take and make tough shots. It should be a gret game, but like I said I haven't seen JB play this year but I think it will be hard to get a win in Booneville against a drastically better OC team.

There's not been a lot of atmosphere at the last couple of Owsley games I've seen. The fans havent really been gettin into it. And I know JBS is bringin a pep bus, so the Owsley faithful better get ready.

Hey Prof. Lotsa of Luck to you and the boys tonite and I hope we prevail against Jenkins. We will have to get a bus group together to go to Dilce Combs for a great game. Keep your fingers crossed. Beat JBS.
