Are people just bloody lazy?

Featured Replies

Am I the only one who cleans the snow/ice off the roof, doghouse and rear deck of a car? Three times now I've been pelted and have swerved to avoid large sheets of snow/ice from cars and trucks that were in front of me on the expressway. Why can't people clean their cars and trucks off properly? To me this is common sense. Am I expecting too much from my fellow man?

CWB, I can almost understand this a little, but when people get off work for the day, they should take a little time to shove that snow off the roof of the car. It does become dangerous at times.

It's a good point...and yeah, I think that's something I really should work on being more conscientious about.

Main issue I have is the ice really sticks to my car, and I cant get it off sometimes without scraping it like you do the window (from the roof and trunk lid). My Trunk lid is bad for just busting loose as one big piece when you hit a bump on the interstate. I try to bust it off if it gets warm but when it stays cold just hard to do.

I do love it when my truck bed is full of snow on the interstate :D

You sound like you're from London!

And yeah, experience tells me there are lots and lots of lazy people out there.

I love those sheets of ice that fly off of rigs. It reminds me of drywall.

Guilty and unashamed.

So you don't care if that huge sheet of ice and snow flies off your vehicle and causes my windshield to crack or possibly cause an accident?

I remember a few years ago I posted my dislike of people not cleaning ice and snow off their vehicles. I also remember getting chastised for it as if I was one doing something selfish or not thinking about the consequences. How thoughtless of me.
