With or without James Quick, PRP still has to contend with Trinity's defense. Unless PRP has the offensive line and skill set of say a Moeller, then there is no way they get close.

Total respect for PRP. ON paper and by their results - awesome. Without a doubt they have been the "toast of the county" all season [ Aside from MdGee's hated 2 of X & T].

 

NO dobut have an outstanding QB and skill players. Yet to be determined if all the other tangibles as outlines above - come to pass. I.E., schedule, opposition, experience, BIG STAGE - that will have a whole lot to do with it = IMVHO. Never been there before.

 

Those are some 'bright lights" T has showed they have some vulnerabilities.

 

I know our Coaching Staff - has and is a big edge. Let's see "whose right"

PRP has a better chance of scoring 52 on T in a varsity baseball game.

Friday Coach B said Quick was day-2-day with cracked ribs. Heard yesterday that Quick was doing some practicing, then saw a local sportscaster tweet last night he is OUT with broken ribs. Who knows???

No way he plays if ribs were really broken. T hasn't been the offensive machine without him in the lineup. The defense better play four quarters and not just the second half. If PRP gets some early confidence with a first half lead (like X and Scott Co.) and the T offense sleep walks through another first half, it could be a long ride back to The Ville for THS. With some early confidence this PRP team could extend the outcome until late. Will T's late magic holdup again? That is the question that scares me.

 

To win this game T must control the first half and take PRP out of it. The T offensive and defensive lines must make PRP realize that they are playing a higher level of compettion that is hard to beat. If not, it could be a new champion that is crowned. A Public School at that!

I find it hard to believe that any coach would play a kid in this situation. Yes, the T offense hasn't been clicking on all cylinders, but to endanger the future of a kid would be foolish. Quick has given T everything that he has. I'm sure that he wants to play. He sees whats going on with the offense. He wants to win another Championships. In my opinion the rumor of him playing may be a ploy to get PRP's attention. T's coaches need to come up with a gameplan to win. Without Quick!

Agreed but if Im T, he dresses for the game, goes through warm ups, and its right there on the sideline, only T knows hes medical status for the game, but you make it show he can go and is ready to play, whether he does or not is up to T and his Medical staff.

If Quick plays I guarantee you he will have been medically cleared. Do some people think the Trinity coaching staff and his parents are barbarians? Come on!

Never said anything of the sort, my post was merely on perception, make it look like he could play at any moment, whether he can or not.
