December 15, 201213 yr My oldest Son (#63) killed his first buck this morning. Beautiful 10 point, better than any I've ever harvested. Pic's coming soon.

December 20, 201213 yr Author Thanks Wat, I put him in my best spot (Oh, the things you do for your kids :thumb:). Scored 166 at the local outdoor shop. Tell him congrats. Very nice deer. Also tell him he's suppose to be smiling when he shoots a 166" deer. I'd be doing back flips in the photo.
December 21, 201213 yr Tell him congrats. Very nice deer. Also tell him he's suppose to be smiling when he shoots a 166" deer. I'd be doing back flips in the photo. I videoed us trailing upon his deer. I would share if I knew how, it's a classic... I suppose the kid is a bit "seasoned" after spending 6 months in Iraq last year. Or, maybe he is just trying to look cool . I don't think he realized how popular he would become among the local hunters. He drove it all over town before I had a chance to skin it... Harvesting this deer was a great time and memory for us.
