CoachBuckett
NC State and Va. Tech to SEC. FSU and Clemson to BIG 12. UL and UC to Big 12.
GrizzlyAdams
At least I no longer have to watch Duke flop against Maryland year after year. That is a huge rivalry that will be missed in college ball.
I gotta go to work
If FSU and Clemson were to go to the Big 12 then UL and UC would go to the ACC to replace them IMO. FSU and Va Tech to the Big 10 could also be a possibility with the imprint getting larger.
Voice of Reason
If this all shakes out with UC and UL in the ACC, that would be a beautiful thing.
The Professor
That's the other side of this "markets" equation. I'll never forget that Fiesta Bowl where UConn showed up with only 3,200 fans. That's about 1,000 more than they had at the 2011 Final Four. The Huskies evidently don't have much fan support.

I was there as well and it was sad. People don't believe me when I tell them they maybe had 2000 fans for their championship game.
Clyde
SEC??? If we all agree that TV and markets are driving the conference realignment then I don't see FSU and Clemson adding anything. Plus, I'm guessing teams have a say in who joints (at least to some extent) and I don't see the Gamecocks or Florida wanting to bring in Clemson and FSU. But it isn't like WVU and Nebraska are major gets in TV or markets that pop. Sometimes prestige of the program is more than enough...

Sometimes prestige of the program is more than enough... Agree overall. Pure guess on my part but I'd see the SEC going after the Hokies first. Strong fan base. DC market. Not in another other SEC team's market.
