November 8, 201213 yr Sec Clinton will run, unless there are unforeseen health issues. She would have won Vs McCain four years ago too. Being Sec of State has helped her as well, she has visted more countries and traveled more than any other Sec of State. Plus, she will have the Obama machine behind her.
November 8, 201213 yr Until the next wave of primaries. And those of you forwarding Hilary as a possibility are making a big mistake by overlooking her extreme lack of likability. She's not Bill. She isn't Bill but she is looking more and more like a man each passing day. Not trying to be mean but the years have not been kind to Hilary.
November 9, 201213 yr Mark this post, Republicans win in 2016. :idunno:The Republican Party may not exist in 2016 the way things are going.
November 9, 201213 yr :idunno:The Republican Party may not exist in 2016 the way things are going. For the past 6 months I watched several of the Republican pundits say "If we cannot defeat this president, now, we might as well just admit our party is done and pack up". They have to change to remain relevant, if they just want to point fingers and whine how America isn't what it used to be, white male and conservative religious, then they may as well just quit.
November 9, 201213 yr I will predict that Barack Obama will run in 2016 either through rule changes or through his wife. Either way I think the front runner is an Obama.

Not only that, but they seem to be indignant about it, shocked in the increase in ethnic numbers. That is what I don't understand. I can understand wanting your religion to remain the majority (to a degree), but your ethnicity?
November 9, 201213 yr :idunno:The Republican Party may not exist in 2016 the way things are going. Don't know how old you are but do you know how many times I've heard that about both parties in my lifetime? The winning supporters think they're going to lead forever and the opponents are dead. Not going to happen.

Almost word for word what we heard about the democrats when Reagan was elected. When Bush 1 was elected the sky was falling. Guess what, it's still there.
November 9, 201213 yr Not only that, but they seem to be indignant about it, shocked in the increase in ethnic numbers. That is what I don't understand. I can understand wanting your religion to remain the majority (to a degree), but your ethnicity? The sad thing is that they were 'shocked", as I have seen for years that the white majority is decreasing and it would be lost. Almost word for word what we heard about the democrats when Reagan was elected. When Bush 1 was elected the sky was falling. Guess what, it's still there.Yes, but the demographics are changing, A huge and growing number of people are not white male, Christian or conservatitve. Having said that, I am correct, the party must change to keep up with the changes going on around it.
November 9, 201213 yr The winning supporters think they're going to lead forever and the opponents are dead. Not going to happen. I've long thought the 2012 election would be similar to the 2004 election. I think I was proven right, but I didn't expect the response to this election to be a carbon copy of 2004. I remember that night hearing all the talking heads proclaim that the Democratic party was all but finished. It wasn't & the Republican party is not finished after this election either. People act like Obama won by 15 million votes or something.
