The Cards all time playoff record is 104-33. Not saying that to you gchs, just bringing it up for any that might enjoying knowing

I only have Mayfield with 31 playoff losses.

Also, only Trinity (121) and Highlands (114) have won more playoff games than Mayfield.

Guess 3rd on that list is pretty good, considering no one will ever catch the top two.

Would also like some insight from the one pollster who voted for Holy Cross to win.

A Frankfort fan who is obviously no wanting to face Mayfield

Mayfield 35-7.

Why does Frankfort have to be brought up in every post about Mayfield. Mayfield is not brought in any Frankfort post, unless a Mayfield fan does so. We are focused on Belleview and hopefully then the Paris/Beechwood winner. Just sayin'

I don't think its happening as much as you perceive it to be...and if it does happen, please dont take it personally. Many comments posted are done tongue in cheek, or they are friendly 'jabs" not meant to stir the pot...well, most of the time they are not.

We have much respect for the Frankfort program, and if we do play, we will have to bring our A game.

I stand by my comment, after all you are the Frankfort guy who picked against Mayfield just as you do in every poll, and the poster ask who did it. If it bothers you don't read it. So why do you always pick against Mayfield in heavily favored games where the outcome against Mayfield is highly unlikely?

I'm just sayin that you picked LHC to win to stir a little, when you know it's an extreme long shot. It's a Mayfield thread and we can bring who ever we want. By the way, Frankfort has a nice team and I'm looking forward to the match up if you get by Becchwood.

Snakesnot_2000 like you said if Frankfort can get by Beechwood, they best be concentrating on Bellevue first they are playing great football right now. JD

I can tell you why Frankfort and Beechwood are drawn into alot of the Mayfield threads and that's because that's the round most Mayfield fans think they'll be challenged. Until then, they don't. That would be a bad thing if it were the coaches and players thinking that way, but, Coach Joe takes it 1 game at a time and does an excellent job keeping the kids focused, but, as fans, we've seen this for years and years and we have a pretty good idea when the challenges are coming. Fans from Highlands are the same way. I read a thread on the JCentral/Cov Cath game and someone asked about home field for the next round and a Highlands fan jumped in and said if JCentral wins, we travel there and if CCath wins, they come to our place, completely ignoring the fact that they have to beat Ashland 1st. It's assumed, but, past experience makes it a pretty solid assumption..
