I tell it as I see just like last week when I thought Matney mismanaged the game against belfry I said so.. I to think Ashland is a better team than JC but that night JC did just enough to win.. I don't were tinted glasses and ever assume anything

The statement that no one in 4a is going to stop HHS.. When was the last time someone did in their class? What over 6yrs ago? If this hurts your feelings I'm sorry but it's the truth..I hope it is a good game next week. I don't see it happening though. What does Ashland have that no other team has had in the past 6yrs? You are right.. No one has defeated Highlands in quite some time but it isn't as if every playoff road has been a cupcake. I know of at least in 08' and 10' JC had Highlands on the ropes both games but the Birds pulled victories out on the road just as good teams do.. As for Ashland, their team speed is probably the best they have had in years, and their defense is fast on the end and don't miss many tackles.. I suspect highlands will have success both throwing and with the scrambling abilities of McCoy.. But lining up and running on this team is out of the question

Would all of you give it a rest, take your complaints elsewhere. I'd like to know what happened in this (Ashland/Holmes) game.

I left at halftime when it was 28-0. Ashland pretty much ran at will against Holmes in the 1st half. They did have a couple if drives that stalled, but this game was a mismatch on both sides of the ball from the start. Ashland completed its 1st half scoring on a nicely thrown 35 yard bomb from Elam. Ashland once again played without top running back Baker. Ashland has had another great season, but as we see every year even a very good Ashland team is no match for the top two teams from NKy. I don't expect this year to be any different.

I heard that Ashland was up 21-0 with a minute left before the half, but got an interception and scored quickly to score and lead ballooned to 28-0. Holmes scored to cut the lead in the 3rd to 28-7 and was driving deep into Ashland territory with a chance to make it a game, but Scruggs fumbled and Ashland scored and it was curtains time.
