November 2, 201213 yr His freshman year Prickett wasn't that slow but as he aged and then after knee surgery he couldn't jump or run it seemed. Prickett and Ford both suffered on a Mashburnless team.
November 2, 201213 yr I get that but he is eating up a scholarship. So are a couple of other guys that won't hardly see the floor all season. Point?
November 3, 201213 yr I get that but he is eating up a scholarship. Cal only plays around 7 players anyway, he needs some players there for practice.
November 3, 201213 yr Cal only plays around 7 players anyway, he needs some players there for practice. Practice and to keep certain folks happy. Cal could be a great politician.

November 4, 201213 yr Teague didn't practice it all year the year before. Kid can ball, and we will see it down the stretch.
November 4, 201213 yr Kid can ball, and we will see it down the stretch. I hope that's the case and that we see him make believers out of everyone but I don't feel that's how its going to play out. Hope I'm wrong, I wish nothing but the best for Hood.
November 4, 201213 yr Kid can ball, and we will see it down the stretch. Biggest thing for Harrow in my opinion is to cross over from a street ball/hoopmixtape mentality, into a system/scheme mentality. You put him in a summer league, pro-am, pick up game, etc. yeah he is going to ball and ball hard. Hardest thing for him I have noticed is trying to translate that into the college game and run a team. I think he figures it out by tournament time, if not he won't play, simple as that. I think in due time he will be alright.

Yeah he has an elite handle, but he has to use it in the proper way to run this offense efficiently. He can break ankles, but that's not what Cal and this team needs him to do. You can't just stand out at the perimeter and pound the ball for 5-10 seconds trying to shake somebody, you have to get the ball and go. He has a very quick first step and good quickness in general, he just has to use that quick step to get to the rim. Hardest thing is going to get him to take the contact and not be afraid of the physicality he's going to face.

MD, Duke, at ND, and U of L will be great teaching moments.
