Because Highlands is already better than 99.9% of the high schools in the state. If you increase their substance they'll get better. Having them and Trinity in the same city will increase the enrollment substance of both schools. Not the size. My argument is about size. Yours is about substance. That's two different things.

I think you have to eliminate T and X from this analysis because they have stronger factors than enrollment size that factor into their success. Potentially, every Catholic High age athlete in metropolitan Louisville is included in their enrollment pool.

 

And I agree with PPride that once you get past the first 3 6A programs, many schools from 1A - 5A could compete and even dominate this class.

Danville and Boyle County have taken on all comers from any class and been successful. Size doesn't matter. Shoot, Highlands is smaller than Boyle and Highlands is 4-2 against Boyle and Danville is smaller than Highlands and is 1-1 against Highlands. Size doesn't matter.

Trinity is a better program than Boyle and BG. Their success against both BG and Boyle would have nothing to do with their enrollment size.

Wit every single class. Your argument is flawed. Size matters. As does substance. As does rules to abide by.
