Did T get out-schemed or was it a lack of mental (and physical) effort that led to giving up 45 points?

 

M played very well although outgained slightly in total yardage and first downs. M was 10-16-0 in passing, had no fumbles, had only 3 penalties for 30 yards, recovered T's only fumble inside T's 10, had only one punt (for 63 yards and downed on T's 1, I believe) and scored on 7 of its first 9 possessions.

It is really hard to say. Maybe a bit of both - and add a dash of other things. WE kept trying to stick with the run game - but that was being shut down. I know I know you need the run to set up the pass - etc. WE scored whenever we wanted - just couldnt stop them. Trade punches.

they were/are an exceptional team - IMVHO.

T still has the 6A title printed and will probably win every playoff game by an average of 35 points. It's the National title they probably won't get, that's what stings. Still a great run last 2 years.
