I give the nod to Obama in what had to be one of the worst debates I've seen in my lifetime. It went south on question one. I'm still trying to figure out what Romney said there. Romney had some better moments in the last half of the debate, but overall I give the edge to the President.

 

Romney's strategy was the exact opposite of what I expected. Thought he would hammer away at Libya, but he stayed far away from it. Will be interesting to see how that strategy pays off.

 

Ultimately, I feel like most people tuned out 15-20 minutes in & this debate will have the least impact of the three.

I strongly encourage you to tune in to Fox News right now. That Frank Luntz guy has a focus group & it's getting ready to turn into a Battle Royal. Much better TV than the debate. :lol:

 

This is over for now. They'll probably go back to it, but I almost fell out of my chair laughing at the focus group. Seriously, they were yelling at each other and Frank Luntz shouts, "People, we are on live television!" :lol:

Romney sounding calm, strong and presidential. Obama sounding desperate and bitter -- resorting to partisan sniping and petty attacks. Romney is refusing to crawl into the mud with him. :thumb:

Glad these charades are over. It's a shame because foreign policy is probably the one area the president actually has the most influence over and this was hardly a debate.

I felt this was the most lopsided of all the debates. The President was strong. Romney, when he wasn't agreeing with the President, seemed to ramble and go all over the place.

The CNN poll is showing Obama as a clear winner. Unlike the last debate, Obama is winning on most of the other specific questions as well. It seems pretty clear this was Obama's best debate. I didn't see it as that much better but this poll is not leaving much doubt that they think Obama was a clear winner.
