Per Wireman, Ray Kasongo will not play at East Ridge this year.

That's from sources by the way. I don't know all the circumstances but his Facebook posts would seem to support the news.

His Facebook posts make it sound like they were forced out... Hmm. Things are getting more and more interesting in the mountains.

I believe he's at Arlington Country Day so I've been told. If true, he will be at Boyd County with them to face Wiggins and Huntington Prep on Dec. 15th.

I heard that too but there is conflicting information. I've also heard Letcher Central and Scott County.

I do know that Brandon Bender has beeen selling Kasongo on the Scott County idea. Not sure of Randy McCoy's influence, but he has made it clear that he will do everything he can to keep Kasongo from getting eligible elsewhere...

Wow Brandon Bender! Who in there right mind would listen to him. Didnt he help get UCF in trouble trying to influence the QB from Seneca a couple of years ago.

Not sure what will come of it, but Kasongo has spent alot of time this weekend around the Pikeville program. Eligibility questions are sure to follow him wherever he goes. Pikeville has had issues with recruiting recently, so it is a little surprising they may be headed down this road again so soon...

He will be back at Boyd County Roundball Classic on December 14,15 , Arlington Country Day sent there roster last week, Ray Kasongo was on it.

Is Emmanuel Owotooah on that roster too?

One thing is for sure. His eligibility at Arlington Country Day certainly won't be questioned. They are no longer allowed to compete in the Florida playoff system or against Florida teams that compete in the playoffs.
