The Walking Dead (Season 3...Possible Spoilers)

Featured Replies

Also, we are now starting to see that there are packs of survivors all over the place.

Another thought...anyone noticed how the behavior of the Walkers has changed? They used to aggressively attack humans once they spotted them. Now, they just kind of move slow and do nothing. Or is it just me?

I don't think they are getting dumber but I do see what you're saying. I think I'll just chalk it up to some just being more aggressive than others.

Okay this is a big guess from me so here we go.

I believe that Merle will attack Carol in some way forcing Darryl to kill him. For me it seems that there will be a struggle between the two but ultimately Darryl picks the group over his brother.

I also believe that Merle will cut off someone's hand in the show. I doubt it's Ricks hand even though that's the most logical.

I believe that Andrea will side with the Govenor for a stretch of the season, probably until she see s what he's going to do to Michonne.

To answer your question about the heads, in the book "The rise of the Govenor" he is obsessed with being the person that helped find the cure and helped the world turn back into a civilized area. Not sure if they are going in that direction with the show. Also, he may have a little certain someone locked up in that room too!

I don't recall the heads in the "Rise of the Governor", but the heads were in the comic books.

I agree, I was waiting for another little character to appear....

It could have been in the comics. I've read so much it all just seems like one giant story. Sometimes i have trouble depicting from each. Lol

I've read that some people think Merle has changed completely from his season 1 character and while I do believe he is a little different I think it just shows how much of a stronghold the Govenor has on everyone. You could tell was not going to try and back talk him or anything after him and Milton got into an argument.

Other thoughts....the big dude giving Michonne "stink eye"....friend or foe?

Gov tells Andrea and Michonne that they are free to go....but would they just be target practice outside the gate?

Who could be creeping on Carol? That one guy Aaron and his son from way way back?

Finally--rough episode for T-Dog. No lines at all.

I don't believe that the Govenor is truthful about telling them they could go. They were blindfolded when they were brought in and I doubt they let them just walk out knowing where they are located and could tell others.

I get the feeling that once you're in Woodbury, you either live there or you die there. I don't think you get out.

The author of the comics is coming to UK's campus tomorrow to discuss the show and his books. I will definitely be in attendance.

After seeing what he did to the soilders I think that is a fair statement.

I agree with most that their is something about the tea. Maybe we will see a change in Andrea since she is drinking it now.

I like the thought about Merle going after Carol and Darryl stepping in. I can see that happening since he has developed a bond with the group and her. He didn't have the best relationship with his brother to begin with.

It was a slow episode, but I liked what they did. It opened up a lot more stories that I am excited to see unfold.

I also need to ask for the comics for Xmas.

Check them out at the library...

The tea is "Woodbury Governor's" kool aide. Makes everyone conform to his ways?

I think you're onto something with Merle & Daryl--at least the part about Daryl having to make a choice of loyalties. Not sure which side he'll choose.

I do think Merle will cut Rick's hand off. I've thought that ever since it was revealed that Merle cut his own hand off to escape. A handless Rick would also coincide with the story of the comics. Does't the Governor cut it off in the comics?

Also agree on Andrea.

I wonder if the black man that was making eyes at Michonne might turn out to be Tyreese from the comics? Perhaps not, but he seems an awfully important character to not carry over to the screen.

I think whoever is stalking Carol is a totally new character. As much as I would like to think there is a possibility - maybe Morgan and his son?

I believe the Governor will anyone that is a threat to his peaceful kingdom. Funny that he kept the females alive but killed all the males? (Perhaps for reproduction purposes)?

Morgan, that's who I meant) ( not Aaron.. knew it had an R and ended in N)

Notice that Gov only keeps people alive if he needs something from them. He killed the chopper pilot after he got his info on where to find the rest of the guys.

I don't see them cutting off Ricks hand but if they did then that would be a huge moment for the show.
