Cardinals vs Nationals NLDS 10/7 thru 10/11

Featured Replies

I knew the Cards were in trouble when they had bases loaded, no outs, and came up empty. Tough loss, gotta put it behind them and look to the next one.

My thoughts, exactly. No one to blame but themselves (Craig & Molina, in particular).

Instead of blaming themselves, they went for the shadows excuse again. The whole team in particular... :idunno:

Yeah and what other guys would you rather have up in the position than Craig and Molina?

Poor performance by the bats.

They've got 11ER in 10 Innings vs Zimmerman. Essential they tie this thing up before heading to Wash.

Par. For. The. Course.

Yep. Both went up hacking at the first pitch. Molina is normally good for at least making a pitcher work.

David Freese with a big RBI 2B. Allen Craig and "Dirty" Dan Descalso have gone yard.

Garcia only lasted 2 innings. Lance Lynn, who has appeared in every postseason game thus far, replaced Garcia and is still going.

Why was Garcia removed after only 2 innings?

He was just being ineffective. Walking guys. Didn't look like he had his stuff. 50 Pitches for 2 innings.

Game to looks to be well in hand for the beloved Cards!!!

Bats came to life in a big way. I hope they can hit half as good the rest of the series.

12-4 Final. Beltran hits 2 HR, it would be huge if he turns into his classic postseason self.

Does anyone else thing Rosenthal should be used more in the 7&8th?

The way he pitched today absolutely. Hard to tell if that was more him or a Nationals team that was beat down already.

I agree on Beltran. That first homer was smoked.

He throws 100 so effortlessly. With the way Mujica and Boggs have been hit, I would consider it if I were MM.

Just saw that they Garcia is getting his shoulder scanned.
