Gotta wonder if the Moeller faithful feel that Rodenberg is doing a good job. His Moeller teams seem to underachieve.

Roed's butt is going to be very warm unless they make it out of their region. Guaranteed 3rd at best in the GCL pending La Salle v Elder.

New head coach for Moe next year? Highlands only loss will be against Elder.

The Elder Highlands game will be a good one. The Moeller/Trinity game...not so much.

It did sound like Highlands would be the favorite and I agree with you that they are not. Elder is much improved from last yr and Highlands is slightly less than last yr. Birds will have to play flawless and spread it out on offense. Highlands will struggle to run on Elder. The defense better come to play...the most important thing is no injuries...at the end of the day that is the key.

Wow! Elder plays in the GCL. Arguably best conference in Ohio. Any team from the GCL deserves and gets respect. Better or it will be a long night for anyone including HHS and Trinity. I for one give the respect!

(1) The Moeller fans are NOT happy with Rodenberg. Many say that his team (player and coaches) lack discipline...lots of stupid penalties, etc. Evidently, when they were hammered recently by Cincy St. X, they committed many cheap shots in frustration. I was not there buy I have heard this from a few folks who were there.

(2) Elder's win is not that surprising because they were playing at home, have been getting better each week and Moeller has been getting worse each week. Moeller seemed to peak in week 1. All three of their remaining games are against very good teams. They could go from rated in the top 10 in the nation to a 5-5 and missing the playoffs!

(3) Elder should be favored against HHS but not by a bunch (at touchdown or so). HHS will literally have a month to prepare for the game as their schedule between CovCath and Elder is awful (not their fault as they are playing required district games). The game is at HHS too.

That might of happened in that game, but last night watching game highlights on TV, I watched a Moeller kid collide with a St X kid on last play to win game. St X kid was hurt and the Moeller boy stayed with him and helped him up after just losing the game to them. Classy move! There is some good in this world.

As long as none of the ELder players get suspended like last year...Elder wins the game in the 2nd half.

Highland used to have players go both ways. As I understand it that is not the norm any longer. Elders size and depth will wear down Highlands.

Highlands will have to complete 10-15 passes to win this one. They can not be one dimensional and win.

10 to 15 3 yard passes will not be effective against the Panthers. There has to be a deep ball threat and I don't think Highlands has that.
