Yep you read the score correctly HHS 63 CovCath 56 as neither team brought their "D" with them.

Scoring summary to follow and give me a bit of time, as 119 points will take a bit of time to type up!

Thanks for giving this game its own thread, if ever a games deserved one - it was this one. The game had a bit of everything.

- 119 points with CovCath having the ball with less than a minute to go inside the Birds 20.

- can't wait to see the number of yards passing for each team. Both teams will be in good shape at this position next year. Wagner and Houliston are very nice players at the QB position.

- secondary players for both teams played loose and are smallish compared to the opponent wide outs - a ton of completions.

- Cov Cath screen game is impressive.

- both teams resort to squib/on-side kicks to limit return yards.

- do not remember a single punt in the entire game.

- 2 unsportsmanlike penalties against a member of the chain gang - who removed himself from the field before being ejected.

Final score Ft. Thomas Highlands 63 CovCath 56

CovCath punter and place kicker is out with a broken collar bone and that is why CovCath never tried a kicking PAT and squid kicked the ball all game long!

Wow, going to have some tired refs after that one.

Adam Wagner 6 TD passes, 3 - 2 pt conversion passes and 1 TD running, 1 - 2 pt conversion running (50 points)

Drew Houliston 3 TD passes, 1 2 pt conversion passing and 2 TD running (32 points)

Whoever has Wagner as their JV fantasy QB is flat killing it this weekend.

WHAT???

- 2 unsportsmanlike penalties against a member of the chain gang - who removed himself from the field before being ejected.

WHAT???

Afraid it was true!

The play was a pass that quite honestly I thought was incomplete, as it seemed (at least through my field glasses) to hit the young Colonel in the middle of his chest and then bounce out onto the ground where a HHS player pounced on the ball. From what I understand/was told a member of the chain crew expressed his displeasure to the stripe on the call and got flagged (and rightfully so) and then again to the surprise to the stripe used some foul language to the stripe after the 1st flag and was told to leave.

Honestly I thought the call was bad but in no way shape or form does a chain gang member, heck anyone associated with a team, should speak to a stripe like this man allegedly did!

Someone couldn't seem to keep his mouth shut...and it was a LONG walk of shame to the home side stands...

TOG if you have passing stats for Wagner and Houliston could you post those please.

Sorry we don't do live stats for the JV or Frosh games.

What an embarrassment to the Cov. CATH team. It was even a longer walk with the Bluebird fans clapping and cheering after he got the second flag. 30 yards of back to back penaltys from the Chain Gang put the Birds on the Five yard line. Next play Birds score.

Afraid it was true!
