Campbell County will win this one!!

A bunch of people don't realize how good this team is this year and how good they will be next year. SK only has 15 Seniors and 10 of those Seniors are starters or get a lot of playing time. 17 Juniors either start or get a lot of playing time. 5 Sophomores either start or get a lot of playing time.

Campbell County is coming off of a bye, so they should be able to be well prepared for the SK offense. This also gives them the opportunity to put in a lot of sets and formations that are new. I see SK containing Campbell's running game , but I don't see SK scoring a ton of points here either. Besides CC having two weeks to prepare, SK has had several empty red zone trips in their last two games. SK 20 - 10.

Seems that most people think that CC coming off a buy week is a positive. There have been several posts that have cited it gives CC more time to prepare and more time to scheme. I get that, however I question how much of an advantage it really is. For me, a buy week can much easier be a disadvantage. Your routine is thrown off, your over thinking, and it is a struggle to keep your players focused and mentally prepared (goofing off in practice etc). Some may disagree, but its a pretty big deal. Many times high school football teams come out flat after a buy week. They put to much confidence in the "preparation" and slack a little in intensity. Not saying this will happen, just saying that is a very real and common tendency. Basically, I put little to no stock in CC having an extra week as being a positive - could be a negative just as well.
